Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry and wet messes in one time and without the need to switch devices. They can also reduce space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models with docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, refill their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's among the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you up and running with a clean, complete dust bag, floor solution for hard floors and water tank in no time.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can cleans up a mess and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops spin at fast speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of dirt, pet hair and dried sticky spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a range of brushes and attachments and a user-friendly app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For example, you can opt for the robot to do a deep clean in the living and kitchen but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models can't. The only drawback is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed. However an inspection of the history of cleaning on the app will reveal exactly what the robot completed, where it's moving, and what obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.
The docking station features a handy LCD screen that shows the need for maintenance for cleaning up debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It's also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank with a 600ml bottle of the eufy's solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long run time. The mop is able to run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. You can also view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easy to understand although we would like to be able to differentiate between a vacuum only or mop and vacuum clean when looking at a clean area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum, is the newest version. The model this year has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This improves the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power which allows it to pull up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners might miss.
The Roborock model, just like the other two I tried it has infrared and a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it overcome obstacles like walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates dual cameras that can detect objects, determining if they are walls or other surfaces. It then can automatically alter its direction and clean them without skipping a beat.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is striking and has just three physical buttons: the power button, which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can send the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml of water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin fills up automatically.
The only issue I encountered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth when required, but it's a challenge to take the mount off for manual washing. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can manage and set up these using the Roborock app, which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, monitor the battery life and maintain your components. You'll have to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. It's a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop with exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. robot vacuum cleaner cheap permits customised and efficient cleaning while reducing time.

The side brush also automatically tilts down when detecting wet spots, which is a nice addition that assists the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by the frequent back-and-forth movement.
Unlike other robots, which are limited to one task, the X40 can vacuum and mop simultaneously. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas, or reverse the process. robot vacuum hoover can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is simple to use and intuitive and the X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are simple to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, see floor plans and maps, and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and has many features that make it an excellent choice for busy families. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads and refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It can also tell when the mop pad is overflowing and notify you before it overflows, reducing the need for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. However, it has several characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, a new feature on its mops, uses two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can clean pet hair and small dirt particles - and also pick up spills and wet spots.
Its mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This feature is great because it stops mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen on other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.
There are a lot of options, including the option to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. They can be set through the app or there are buttons that can be found on the unit itself. The app is easy to use and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are many features that other robots don't include, for instance, the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles, instead of relying on an individual setting.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen in the market, with a white and metallic design that looks classy and sophisticated. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this listing however it's not excessively heavy. It feels solid and well-built. Mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mops work well on hard floors as well as in corners. They can even extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice touch.
