Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry and wet messes in one go and without the need to switch between devices. They can also reduce space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Find models that automatically empty their bin, refill their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads from the dock that is specifically designed for them.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer for its relatively low cost, and it's one of the most simple robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and a quick-start guide will have you up and running with a clean and complete dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in no time.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at high speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of dirt, pet hair and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app which lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
You can, for example request the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and smart navigation tech are also excellent, with the robot being capable of detecting small obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only drawback is that the robot tends to crash into walls and objects at a high speed. However, a quick look at the history of cleaning on the app will tell you precisely what the robot has done, where it is traveling, and what obstacles he has run into or avoided.
The docking station features an LCD display that shows the time when maintenance is required, such as emptying debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank, with a 600ml bottle of the eufy's solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop is able to run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode. The vacuum can last 136 mins in normal mode, prior to having to recharge or returning to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive and lets you view every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. Unlike last year's model this one has two agitators in its mopping pad, which significantly improves its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners might miss.
As with the other two Roborock models I've tested the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining if they're walls or other surfaces. It can then change its direction in a way that is automatic and clean around them, without missing a step.
It's the most expensive model I've tested, but it also has the most features. Its sleek, angular design is attractive and it has only three physical buttons: the power button, which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can send the robot back to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin auto-refills.
The only negative I discovered with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to take the mount off for washing manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mounts, which could cause abrasions.
robot vacuum hoover has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and set up these features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. cheap robot vacuum cleaner allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to enable voice control on this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with cutting-edge features, high suction power and cutting-edge mowing abilities. Its innovative design lets you to customize and efficiently clean while saving time.
The X40 is the first robot vacuum cleaner to provide 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which makes it one of the most effective alternatives available. This powerful vacuum can clean up the dry mess, which includes pet hair and food particles. It also has a high-quality mop that makes hard floors spotlessly clean, even without a wet pad. The X40 is also very quiet while in use and only occasionally bursting during modes changes or self-maintenance.

Another notable feature is the X40's extendable and liftable side brushes, which allows it to get into hard-to-reach corners and intimately clean furniture such as table and chair legs. The robot can also reach under furniture that is low-profile, making it an excellent option for apartments with small spaces or condos. The side brush automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice touch that assists the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by the frequent back-and-forth movement.
Contrary to other robots which solely focus on one task, the X40 is capable of performing both vacuuming and mopping simultaneously or in a series. It can also be programmed to eliminate areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors, and reverse the process. It can be controlled via the Dreame app or via Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for a seamless voice-controlled operation.
The app is user-friendly and user-friendly and the X40's intelligent features are a breeze to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, see floor plans and mapping and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and inform you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with numerous features which make it a good option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, then refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. robot vacuum hoover can also detect if the mop pad has reached its capacity to the max and notify you of the situation before it spills.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive models available however, it comes with numerous additional features that set it apart. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature of its mop heads, makes use of two mop heads that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can remove pet hair and small dirt particles - as well as picking up spills and wet spots.
The mop mops are cleaned and dried at the base station every time they are used. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a feature we've yet to see on other robot vacuums and mop models, and it could be a useful method to keep your home clean for longer.
There's a wealth of settings on offer, including the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a variety of preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or buttons that can be found on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has a lot of options for customizing the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are a lot of functions that other robots don't have - such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles, rather than using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It's a little heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots on this list - at around 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy, and it feels robust and well built. The mopping design is also excellent, and the double rotating mop is great for hard floors and in corners. They can also extend up to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice addition.
